What is public housing? Why does it matter? Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity is partnering with Defend Glendale & Public Housing Coalition to host a workshop on Public Housing 101. This is a unique opportunity for healthcare providers to learn directly from members of the community on an issue that affects the citizens of the Twin Cities. Defend Glendale is a grassroots, resident-led campaign organizing to prevent the privatization of public housing in Minneapolis, while advocating for the expansion of public housing. This workshop will be led by a resident organizer from Defend Glendale Public Housing Coalition, with a moderator from the Minnesota Doctors for Health Equity.
