In partnership with Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (IWOC), this community conversation will focus on current health care access for incarcerated people, equity implications, and how physicians and health professionals can help advocate for change.
Sandwiches and coffee from Sammy's Avenue Eatery will be provided. ***Please bring your own coffee mug and/or water bottle.
All are welcome. MDHEQ's work is made possible by the support and engagement of our members. While you do not have to be a member to attend, we encourage you to join us. Our members are healthcare professionals and community members who advocate for health equity in all aspects of their professional, public, and private lives.
